What is Fabric Art ?
I create works of Art from Fabric.
This is the result of a love of Fabric that has increased over several years. With each new
piece (or old piece that I've suddenly rediscovered), comes a new idea. These ideas even
come to me in my dreams, so I have to grab pen and paper, and draw the idea or scratch
notes that only I can decipher. One new idea, one new piece of Fabric or a new venue for
exhibiting is enough motivation for me to rise before the rising of the sun, to get started on a
project; or to replenish products that I consider my staples.
What is needed for this line of work?
Confidence and a tolerance for solitude

Book and Bible Covers
Bookmarks
Quilted Wall Art
Ladies" Wool Shawls/Capes
Bags
Jewelry
I sell my work at several Arts Events, Conferences. Office Events, and Markets
(formerly at Eastern Market on Capitol Hill in Washington,DC and Old Towne Alexandria
Farmers Mkt in VA). I still occasionally exhibit Sundays at the Baltimore Bazaar at the
Baltimore Farmers Mkt at Holiday near Saratoga Sts in downtown Baltimore
